Thokozani Magagula | Intern
The INR welcomes Intern Thokozani Magagula through the DSI-HRC Internship Programme. Thokozani has pursued a diverse educational and professional journey, marked by a commitment to both pharmaceutical and natural sciences. Beginning with a Certificate in Pharmacy Assistant, Thokozani expanded into the realm of genetics and zoology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Free State in 2019 Bloemfontein campus. This academic foundation led to a pivotal role as a Research and Laboratory Assistant intern at the University of the Free State Qwaqwa campus, where he focused on DNA analysis of ticks and shrews in Qwaqwa and its environs. Currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Thokozani plans to advance studies in Zoology and Genetics next year. Past experiences include administrative roles at the KwaZulu Natal Department of Education.
