Dr Preeya Daya is an academic, researcher, and consultant in the fields of leadership, people management, and organisational behaviour. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town and is a Certified Integral Coach.

Preeya is an Associate of the University of Cape Town’s Allan Gray Centre for Values-Based Leadership and is an Academic Director and Board Member at the Achievement Awards Group. Following a global career as a Human Resource Practitioner, she transitioned to academia and consulting, where she has worked with a variety of business schools and organisations to share grounded insights in diversity, inclusion, employee engagement and leadership. Preeya serves on the Board of the Institute of Natural Resources and as a Council member of the Durban Chamber of Commerce, where she chairs the Human Resources Chapter. She is an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Presencing Leadership and Coaching, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is a co-editor of the book 12 Lenses into Diversity in South Africa.
