Perushan Rajah has an MSc in applied environmental science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and wishes to start reading for a PhD specialising in remote sensing GIS in 2016. His main interests are agricultural remote sensing (precision agriculture), forestry applications and climate change implications. With regards to the INR, Perushan is involved in various remote sensing and GIS projects which include the KZN National Recourse Management strategy, basic environmental assessments and climate vulnerability modelling.
