Norman Dlamini has been a Director of Business Development at Forestry South Africa since 2013, and the chairperson of the INR Board since 2022. 

Mr Dlamini believes that collaborations between academia, government, industry and society are not only a fundamental part of academic and research excellence, but are also critical building blocks for sustainable innovation systems. 

He considers himself a development practitioner who operates at the nexus of entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Norman holds a BSc in Agriculture, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a senior certificate in International Leadership Development from the Gordon Institute of Business Science of the University of Pretoria.
