Zanele Shezi (Diploma Agriculture)
Senior Community Facilitator

Zanele is a Senior Community Facilitator with a National Diploma in Agricultural Management obtained from UNISA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies obtained from the University of the Western Cape – Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies. She has extensive experience working as an agricultural development facilitator, having worked with rural smallholder farmers for over twelve years in a variety of settings. She has an excellent understanding of rural small-scale agricultural systems and the socio-cultural context in which rural agriculture occurs. Zanele is competent in facilitation, public participation, Participatory Action Research (PAR) and extension methods, local institutional settings and governance.
