Silungile Dlamini holds an MSc degree in environmental science which she obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her MSc focused on determining the impact of terrain on forest operations and forest productivity using GIS and statistical modelling in commercial forest plantations. Whilst working in the INR she has been involved the environmental governance and sustainability theme. Silungile’s interests lie in GIS and remote sensing within the environmental sector particularly environmental sustainability and governance which she developed an interest in during her undergraduate studies in Geography and other social sciences.
