Senior Field Officer
Athabile is a hydrology professional in training, currently furthering her studies in the same field. She has experience in water quality monitoring, environmental pollution work, and citizen science programmes, as well as project management within the Social Employment Fund programme. She enjoys working outdoors and being closely connected to natural systems. She is committed to contributing to the improvement of livelihoods, particularly among young people, through community-based learning the capacity building of citizen scientists. Alongside her scientific focus, she has a passion for translating environmental science into visual stories through photography, videography, and other media. Her goal is to bridge science and storytelling in a way that makes complex environmental concepts more accessible, engaging, and impactful.
