The INR team held a two day strategic retreat on 13 and 14 March 2024.

Day one of the retreat provided an opportunity for all staff to reflect on current projects and programmes of work and how they relate to current and emerging global challenges. This provided the opportunity to reflect and refine the organisations approach to developing new areas of work to address 21st century environmental and social priorities while remaining grounded in the local socio-environmental context. Working with strategic partners, who participated in day two of the retreat, we presented our strategic focal areas and workshopped ideas through breakaway and plenary sessions. Bringing partners into our deliberations provided rich discussions which has helped immeasurably to generate new ideas to align our work with emerging trends and priorities.
