Akosua Awuah

Akosua holds a BSc Honours Degree in Geography and Environmental Management which she obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently doing her MSc. Her research focuses on Integrated and Adaptive Water Resources Management in the Msunduzi and eThekwini Municipalities, and exploring the role of local government. Her research interests include adaptive management, water governance, water resources management and increasing flood adaptability towards climate change impacts. Through the internship, Akosua hopes to gain work experience and confidence outside of a lecture room. She also hopes to explore career paths, future research ideas and make new and lasting friendships.
